O trabalhador passa a sofrer com complexos de toda ordem pela rejeição tácita por parte da sociedade, muitas vezes resultando em um sentimento de inferioridade, algo que levará para o resto da vida, lhe causando sérios constrangimentos e sofrimento de ordem íntima.
A indenização por danos estéticos, tem por objetivo recompor a dor moral pela deformidade estética decorrente do acidente de trabalho.
