Não precisa! O INSS não exige que o segurado continue efetuando o pagamento das contribuições previdenciárias enquanto recebe o auxílio-doença.
Quando se está recebendo um benefício previdenciário, o trabalhador (segurado) mantém a sua qualidade de segurado, neste caso do auxílio-doença, isso isenta a necessidade das contribuições.
Outra situação importante é que após finalizado o recebimento do benefício ele entra no período de graça de 12 meses, ou seja, caso se encontre numa situação de desemprego durante esse período não perderá a qualidade de segurado, podendo voltar a contribuir neste período após a cessação do beneficio.
